Outreach & Special Performances Request Form

The Fargo-Moorhead Gay Men’s Chorus typically rehearses from September through May, and typically presents two full concerts annually; a Holiday concert in December, and a Spring concert in May or June. In addition to these performances, the Chorus enjoys collaborating with local nonprofits, churches, or other organizations for outreach and special performances! Often a smaller group (ranging from 4-15 singers) from our full singing membership of approximately 20 members will perform for these events. These performances may include music from our upcoming or recent concerts, music from our standard FMGMC music selections, or special requests. The Chorus prides itself on preparing a quality performance for each event we participate in; to facilitate this, we request that you complete the following fields with as much detail as possible. This will help our Production Committee and leadership team determine if the Chorus will be able to participate in your event!

Disclosures and Acknowledgements - For most outreach and special performances, FMGMC incurs costs such as paying the Artistic Director and Accompanists for rehearsals and performances, ordering sheet music, and more. Because of these costs, the Chorus will request a fee to cover these costs. The base fee for outreach performances is no less than $50, and will increase based on several factors including, but not limited to, the following: i. Number of songs performed; ii. Whether music is selected from FMGMC’s current repertoire or special pieces are prepared for the event; iii. Additional costs incurred for audio/video equipment; iv. Complexity of music requiring additional rehearsal time. The Chorus places deep value in our ongoing relationships with organizations and individuals in the community; if you or your organization is a regular concert sponsor, this fee may be reduced or waived.
